meditation on nature
“if you lose relationship with nature, you lose relationship with humanity” — Krishnamurti
«meditation on nature» is an ongoing nature photography project, which arose while moving from my home country to the point without end. I decided to answer life’s troubles by trying to find a solid ground somewhere in the world. I started to recognize it in green zones where I was walking a lot. Meditation on nature through photography became a constant practice. During these wanderings, my search for a home feeling became a conscious purpose in my photography research.
with each frame, I endeavour to capture a sense of wonder and contemplation, trying to express somehow the universal ‘home feeling’ evoked in the course of life, capturing that glimpse and connecting with it.
black-and-white and analogous colours in photography seem the most convenient to share the essence of nature and the profound expressions of belonging and familiarity associated with the home.
i see this series as Giclée prints larger than 100 cm on the short side and a high-quality photobook to reveal subtle details of the photographs.
